After an extensive renovation to restore the home in Hamilton East to traditional heritage bungalow, the clients wished to enhance with a landscape design that reflects the heritage styled home.
The front garden design creates a journey through the heritage inspired formal garden, allowing guests to enjoy the space and meander to the front entry. The paths are tiled in heritage tile, with feature heritage brick edging and fence, reflecting the homes external features, with custom iron gates. Feature Dwarf Maples stand proud in their central garden beds.
To the rear garden, the existing pool surrounds have been revitalised with an addition of a beautiful covered alfresco area perfect for entertaining paved in travertine. Stepping pavers surrounded by Native Violet lead you to an existing check has been given a coat of charcoal paint to blend into backdrop. With limited space to create gardens vertical space has been utilised with Creeping Fig planted to cover a common boundary wall to create a beautiful wall of green as this garden matures.
The planting scheme includes Philodendron, Clivea, Liriope, Gardenia, Buxus, Creeping Fig, Native Violet, Agapanthus and Star Jasmine.
