Australian Native Garden Design

Aussie natives are a wonderful choice for any landscape design. Not only are they beautiful, low maintenance and drought resistant, but they are also environmentally friendly and support the local ecology.

Some of my favourites to use in a Native garden are a variety of Australian grasses such as lomandra or dianella. Other favourite plants include grevillea, westringia, myoporum and flowering gums. Xanthorrhoea species known by all as ‘Grass Trees’ are a beautiful species endemic to Australia. They are very slow growing and worth every dollar as a feature plant in any native garden design.

With a little bit of love and care, these gardens will look amazing in any outdoor space.

Australian Native Gardens are the perfect way to bring natural beauty to a landscape design. With a wide variety of native grasses and flowering gums, these gardens offer a unique and vibrant display of colours and textures. Australian native gardens are also beneficial in that they provide a habitat for native wildlife, as well as help to protect the environment by conserving water and reducing the use of harmful chemicals. They are also low maintenance and drought tolerant, making them an ideal choice for busy families or those looking to reduce their carbon footprint. With Australian native gardens, the possibilities are truly endless.
